Kick off black history month with the Canadian Release of "A Winter Tale"

Dear Friends,

Celebrate Black History Month With A Winter Tale!

Frances-Anne Solomon's acclaimed award-winning film will open to cinema-goers this February!

Please join us for the official Release Launch on January 31st, at the Revue Cinema (400 Roncesvalles ave) where cast and crew will be on hand for a special Q&A session. Don't miss the After Party at Hugh's Room, 2261 Dundas West.

What's more, we have been busy working with teachers and communities to set-up a series of events dubbed Talk it Out, that uses A Winter Tale as a tool for youth 14+ to discuss issues of youth violence and gun culture in Toronto.

Set in Toronto's Parkdale Community, A Winter Tale tells the emotional story of a black men's support group that begins to meet at a Caribbean Takeaway restaurant after the shooting death of a young child. It features a talented ensemble cast led by Canadian stars Peter Williams, Michael Miller, and Valerie Buhagiar, with Lucky Ejim, Peter Bailey, p! Barrington, Ryan Glasgow, Mike G. Yohannes, Nicole Stamp, Ryan Ishmael, Shakura S'Aida, Bobby Del Rio, and Finlandia Cassellas, and also starring Caribbean icons Leonie Forbes and Denis "Sprangalang" Hall.
