* CaribbeanTales has been awarded funding by the Trillium foundation to present the "Winter Tale" Project as a theatre play in Toronto schools in 2007/8.

* "Word Hammers", our documentary on Nourbese Phillip, will be screened as part of the 4th Mpenzi Film Festival in Toronto, February 2007.

  1. Happy holidays FA and staff. Nice to see this was a busy year for all. I hope all goes well in the new year. Was searching all over for your site... didn't know you switch over to .ca (feeling patriotic now?). When will I get a chance to see Winter Tale?

Thanks for replying back very quickly to my last email concerning my documentary. In the end we brought a PVGS 500. At the moment we have a possibliity on flying to NYC to film the documentary's conclusion. The project is becoming very big.

Congrats on winning the Audience Award at the San Diego Women's Film Festival and getting funded to present your "Winter Tale" Project as a theatre play in Toronto schools in 2007/8.
